Your Owner's Guide
The five questions every new client asks once their site goes live — answered up front.
How do I log in to my website?
Once your site launches, we email you your WordPress admin link, username, and password. The login page is always your domain followed by /wp-admin (for example, yourdomain.com/wp-admin). Bookmark it on your phone and laptop. Save the credentials in a password manager — we cannot recover a lost password for you, but we can always reset it.
Where do I access all my website info?
Everything lives inside your WordPress dashboard after you log in. From there you can see your pages, puppies, parents, blog posts, form submissions, and hosting info. We also send you a welcome packet with your domain registrar info, hosting details, email setup, and tutorial video library — keep that email pinned.
How do interested buyers contact me?
Every PPW site includes a Puppy Application form, a Waitlist form, and a Contact form. When someone fills one out, the submission emails directly to the inbox you give us at launch (we strongly recommend a dedicated address like puppies@yourdomain.com so it doesn't get lost in personal email). You'll also see every submission stored inside the WordPress dashboard under WP Forms, so nothing is ever lost. Buyers can also call or text the phone number you list on the Contact page — that goes to your phone directly, not through us.
What parts of my website can I edit?
You own and can edit every page on your site. Most clients only ever touch four things: adding new puppies, updating parent photos, posting new litters, and refreshing the homepage hero. The site is built on Divi — an easy drag-and-drop builder. Click any text or image, edit it, hit save. Your tutorial library walks through every common edit. The only piece we ask you not to touch is the core theme files (settings → theme editor) — if you need a structural change, just text us.
How can I see how my website is doing?
Two places. (1) AIO SEO plugin is pre-installed and shows you which keywords are ranking, broken links, and pages that need attention — find it in your WordPress sidebar. (2) If you added our SEO AIO GEO Package, you also get a monthly report showing Google traffic, AI search visibility, and which pages are bringing in the most puppy inquiries. Want this added later? You can always add it on after launch.
